Free pregnancy tests

Did you know you don't have to go the Doctor to confirm your pregnancy. We are able to confirm the pregnancy for free and take your blood test. We will also organise any necessary scans and referrals you may need.
If you are trying to concieve and would like a couple of pregnancy tests on hand you can txt me on 0272918085 or Michelle on 0274963296 and we will be happy to drop a free pregnancy test or two into your letterbox for you or if you live out of town we can put a couple in the post.

Our reliability on internet

Our modem hasn't been working properly so it's been a while since I have had the time and patience to be here...but here I am.
Things have been very busy at Tuatapere Maternity and there are lots of families looking to welcome a new baby or two over the next 9 months.
I get to birth my dream of crossing the finish line after a 42.2km run on Sunday. I have to say just like we look forward to having our baby in our arms the actual thought of the labour can be a bit daunting...hopefully once I'm running I will get into a nice rhythm and cross the line alive! Which is the most important thing of course...breathing is good:-)even when your going to be the last one across.
Back to work... I have some wee clusters of babies due over Christmas and then again in January and March and May... Michelle currently is very busy with a cluster of babies due from the Ohai Nightcaps area, Its good to be busy and great that when one is busy the other one of us is quiet so we can be there for each other. For those of you who have not met michelle yet hopefully she is coming to Te Anau on the 23rd of November so if you would like to meet her and don't have an appointment booked for that day let us know and she will gladly pop round and say hello. There is also a Locum midwife coming this (22nd-30th November) week so if you need a midwife it may temporarily be another skilled rural midwife as I am off to year 6 camp with Alex.
